PARDIH DAM

In Baghmundi police station area, in the lap of Ayodhya hills, there is an unknown village called Pardi. The village is quite large. On the road from Baghmundi to Balrampur, the narrow paved road on the left from Banshitar turns to the right through the dense Shal forest and crosses the village of Chirugara to reach Pardi village. The tribal houses of this Chirugara village are beautiful. Beautifully decorated courtyards and walls with remarkable, colorful motifs. Some of them are flowers and some of them are animals. In a word, you can’t take your eyes off it. Pardi Dam, a short distance from Pardi village.

In the village of Pardi, the dam has been constructed by tying up the river Kanthaljhuri. This Pardi Dam is in the lap of Gorgaburu, one of the peaks of the Ayodhya Hill Range. The quiet, silent dam sits alone in secluded solitude, decorated with unique treasure. The region is like a sage’s sanctuary. If you stand on the bank of the dam in the morning or at sunset, the mind is bound to feel you are in heaven. Gorgaburu hill is very close to this dam, you can be climb hill, it is another experience. There is a small field on the bank of the dam. People who come to rock climbing camp here. Now the Eco park is being built with the help of the Government. It is expected to gain more popularity as a picnic spot once it is ready.
